Los Angeles, CA — KONDOR BLUE today announced the acquisition and full integration of Element Filters, marking the company’s official expansion into professional optical filtration for filmmakers and content creators worldwide.
This acquisition represents a strategic investment by KONDOR BLUE to bring optical expertise, supply chain infrastructure, and production-tested filtration technology in-house. The move allows KONDOR BLUE to accelerate into optical products with proven technology, eliminating the typical years of trial and error required to develop high-performance filtration systems from scratch.
With this acquisition, KONDOR BLUE now owns all filter-related intellectual property and manufacturing relationships, positioning the company to rapidly scale a new filtration vertical under the KONDOR BLUE brand.
Element Filters’ operations will be fully absorbed into KONDOR BLUE over the coming months, with all current and future filtration products launching exclusively as KONDOR BLUE offerings. The Element Filters brand and social channels will transition accordingly as part of the integration.
“We’ve spent years building everything around the camera,” said Lukas Colombo, Founder and CEO of KONDOR BLUE. “This move allows us to step directly into the image itself — bringing trusted optical technology into the KONDOR BLUE ecosystem and expanding what creators can expect from our brand.”
The acquisition includes proprietary filter formulations, manufacturing processes, and product lines such as diffusion and full-spectrum neutral density filters currently in development. Customers can expect a rapidly expanding lineup of filtration products designed to meet the same standards of durability, performance, and value that define KONDOR BLUE.
KONDOR BLUE is committed to building a fully integrated camera ecosystem — expanding beyond rigging and power into optical tools while maintaining full ownership and operational control across product categories.
The first wave of new filtration products is expected to launch in 2026, with additional announcements to follow.
