The Stalman iPhone Clamp by KONDOR BLUE is a premium smartphone rig designed in collaboration with creator Tyler Stalman. Available in both Vertical and Standard configurations, this clamp is built for social content creators looking to take their mobile filmmaking to the next level.

Vertical Clamp

Core to the Vertical Clamp’s functionality is the included 40 Gbps USB-C Elbow Adapter. This adapter is covered by a mini magnetic dovetail plate, which features a ¼”-20 anti-twist mount and provides clean cable routing. With the USB-C port now redirected to the back of the phone, it’s prepped and ready for accessories like SSDs, wireless audio, or power solutions.

Standard Clamp

The Standard Clamp features a ¼”-20 anti-twist mount on the back for mounting directly to—or through—the clamp. The top and bottom include 1/4"-20 threads with 15mm on-center ARRI-style anti-twist holes, and the base features an ARCA Swiss profile for quick tripod or gimbal mounting. It’s a compact, universal option designed to fit seamlessly into any mobile rig.

Every line of the Stalman iPhone Clamp was painstakingly considered. KONDOR BLUE and Tyler Stalman collaborated, designed, and prototyped dozens of iterations over nearly a year to create something intentional, sophisticated, and scalable. The iPhone 15 & 16 Pro/Pro Max took mobile video to the next level. The challenge with mobile video, however, has always been rigging out the phone to accommodate pro workflows with a sensibly sized yet purpose-built rig. The KONDOR Blue USB-C Media Hub sets out to tackle several of these challenges by combining many of the constraints into a single product.

The USB-C Media Hub connects to your iPhone via a removable USB C cable that nests neatly inside a NATO Rail. This helps to protect the cable end from unwanted disconnection or damage. The hub has three additional USB C ports that allow for PD (Power Delivery), audio signal, SSD Media, and a full sized HDMI port for video monitoring. The HDMI port will require PD power in most use cases. 

Each edge of the hub is an industry-standard NATO rail that works great for attaching handles, magic arms, or other rigging configurations. The front face has a cold shoe for audio receivers. The back has a ¼”-20 with male/female anti-twist options (2x 3mm ARRI style anti-twist pins are stored in the back). Designed with the Stalman Clamp and Angelbird Recording Modules in mind, the Media Hub neatly mounts to the back of the Stalman Clamp. 

The USB-C Media Hub doesn’t need to be limited just to iPhones. It can also be used with your computer or other USB-C-capable devices and retains all functionality, including power passthrough. The audio and monitoring ports can also be used as additional media ports.

This HUB can sustain breathtaking read/write speeds from 750 up to 1,000 MB/s which is more than twice as fast as what is needed on the iPhone under maximum quality settings.  We used 10Gbps technology to allow for more flexibility on computers and future proofing for the next generation of iPhones.

More and more cameras are enabled to record via USB-C to an SSD. We’ve worked closely with SanDisk Professional and Panasonic to ensure an incredible experience when using the SanDisk Professional PRO-BLADE SSD Mag (up to 2TB). These drives can sustain breathtaking read/write speeds and up to 1,000 MB/s when using it with the KONDOR BLUE SSD Top Handle.

Every feature of the Pro-Blade SSD Handle for SanDisk USB-C recording has been meticulously considered and optimized. Not only does the handle perform as an incredible top handle, but it can also be used as a side handle. The NATO rail that runs along the base serves as a great platform for dialing in balance and positioning for either orientation. The NATO features an integrated safety stop giving you confidence that the handle won’t slip free. 

The drive slides smoothly into the handle and has a recessed cutout on top for users to be able to grab the pull tab of the drive to remove. The USB-C interface on the front of the grip is nested into a vertical NATO rail which provides great protection without any extra fuss. The vertical NATO also pairs perfectly with our NATO to NATO Swivel Tilt Monitor Mount.

The KONDOR BLUE Pro-Blade SSD Handle also features a cold shoe with a spring-loaded safety stop and 2x ¼ 20 ARRI style mounts. The mounting NATO clamp can also be oriented in parallel or perpendicular modes and is held in place with two captive M4 bolts and anti-twist pins. The NATO clamp stem can also be removed altogether to work with KONDOR BLUE’s NATO Clamp to ARRI Rosette and Quick-Release Rosette Module. 

Best of all, the KONDOR BLUE Pro-Blade SSD Recording Handle is also comfortable! The combination of the side cross hatchings, diamond plate style G10, and finger cutouts make this grip an ergonomic dream. This handle is built like a tank but lights like a plane to be a workhorse for years to come.

Product Highlights:

Manfrotto 501 to Arca Swiss Adapters have become ubiquitous industry standards for mounting cameras to tripods and other equipment. With the Ronin S series gimbals, DJI has popularized the combination of an Arca receiver on top of a Modified 501 plate. While this works perfectly well for their gimbals, it has little additional application. DJI’s plate also requires a very specific, non-standard-size Arca plate to accommodate its clasping mechanism and height clearance.

At Kondor Blue, our philosophy is to make products as simple and universal as possible. As such, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind Manfrotto 501 to Arca Swiss Adapter. This feature-rich pivot camera mount combination will provide much more value and versatility than simply a gimbal quick-release plate.

The Arca receiver orientation can be rotated to be parallel or perpendicular to the 501 plate. This becomes especially advantageous when combined with our line of mirrorless cages that feature Arca quick releases from the cage with the Arca plate oriented parallel to the lens. 

The Manfrotto 501 to Arca Swiss Adapter is a pivot camera mount that can also be used with standard 501 tripod heads and includes all of the expected anti-slip safety features.* You can even remove the Arca receiver and use it as a standalone receiver as well, and can be mounted via ¼” 20 bolts. The 501 plate can also be used on its own and features a 2” slot and anti-slip pads to keep your camera securely attached.

With a 4mm built-in hex key, ultra-smooth bearing-guided closure, and laser-etched measurements, 4x4mm front attachment mounts, the Kondor Blue 501/Arca Pivot Camera Mount has all you need to streamline your quick-release plate needs.
