PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Arca and Manfrotto 501 plates have become industry standards for mounting cameras to tripods, gimbals, and other support equipment. With the Ronin S series, DJI popularized combining an Arca receiver with a modified 501 plate. While effective for gimbal use, DJI’s design relies on a proprietary-size Arca plate to accommodate its locking mechanism and height requirements, limiting its versatility outside that ecosystem.

At KONDOR BLUE, we design products to be as simple, universal, and adaptable as possible. The 501/Arca Pivot Plate takes that familiar mounting concept and makes it significantly more versatile.

The Arca receiver can be rotated parallel or perpendicular to the 501 plate, giving you more flexibility across different camera setups. This is especially useful with KONDOR BLUE mirrorless cages, which feature integrated Arca quick releases oriented parallel to the lens—allowing you to move quickly between cage, tripod, gimbal, and other support configurations.

The 501/Arca Pivot Plate is compatible with standard 501 tripod heads and incorporates anti-slip safety features.* The Arca receiver can also be completely removed and used independently, mounting via standard 1/4”-20 hardware.

For even more flexibility, the 501 plate can be used on its own and features a 70mm adjustment slot and anti-slip pads and pin options to keep your camera securely mounted.
